I think it is
depend on what kind of blog do I have. If my blog is just for my personal use
that contact with my friends or relative, I can write my post freely instead of
thinking too much for my writing skills. I don't have to use formal writing for
my personal blog. Also it is free to post any kinds of sensitive subjects as
politics, religion, gender, hot news and everything. I will going to share my
lifestyle and personal thinking with my friends and relatives. I don't have to
care that much as business blog.
If my blog is for my business, I
think I will not post my personal thinking and lifestyle as much as my personal
blog. I think business blog have to be an honesty and respect for the customers.
It doesn't mean that the blog have to be an extremely formal but it have to
keep the fine line with the customer. The business blog have to avoid to post
sensitive issues or anything about discriminations. However, we can share
little lifestyle with customer in good way. If I owned the fashion business, I
can post my picture or friends picture that wear my products in everyday life. Then,
my customers can see the real images of the products and the pictures can help
the customers to match their clothes or accessories. Also If the customers have
questions for product, they can write the comment on my blog so I can give them
a feedback easily. I think this much of personal use is good for business blog.
Hi Hannah
ReplyDeleteIts a good idea to share your friends photos, who will showcase your products. Feedback option for the customers are sometimes risky, what if they give some negative feedback, then everybody else can view it! Can we hide the unwanted comments from other readers?
Like your writing.
Thanks
Kalyani
I generally agree with you. If your clients would find it more helpful or engaging to know your personal experiences regarding your product or service, you could consider it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you mention that a business blog should be honest and have respect for the customers. I agree with you 100%. Once you obtain a loyal following, then you can dabble with personality on your blog.
