Final Post

During take this class, my view point of social media has changes. Before I take this class, I thought people using social media just for their fun. People are not deeply thinking of their social medias. Also I thought using social media for business is not very truthful, it felt light business to me. But now, I know the power of the social media and how hard it is. How hard the business people put effort to social media for the customers satisfaction. Social media is very powerful method in business area so if we want to use social media for our business, we have to be prudence. We have to take care of our words and behaviors when we post something on the social media for customers.

If we use Social media wisely and properly, it does us more good than harm. It was very incredible and knowledgeable class. I will keep using the social media and one day, if I start my own business, I hope I use social media wisely and properly.

I am very Thank you for the professor Claudia and Tracy!

  1. Hi Hannah
Yes you are absolutely right! We have to earn the trust of our customers and serve them the best. Transparency should be the key word of social media, if we display something else and send something else, that could be the end of our goodwill! So yes we have to be extra careful of what we are saying/posting/offering!!
    Thanks

  2. Hi Hannah,

Like you I had thoughts of some of the the same things regarding social media was just for fun. I had a business owner tell me a couple years back why in the world would he want to be on Facebook. Used for strictly for family, friends, fun and gossip. Not for serious business owners like him.

Since I didn't know any better then I just nodded my head in agreement. We know better now. So how do we use it correctly for business can be is a never ending discovery to gain more knowledge and use the right tools that are out there.

So trying to search for more info, I've come across these links. I thought they were pretty useful. You might think so too. Check them out. These links are active on my last blog if you want to just click on them.

  3. I have found that using social media for a business takes a lot of time. Promoting a business can be a full time job in itself. I also agree with you and hope that if people use it wisely, then social media can be a great tool However, I worry about my young children and the effects that social media may have on them as they begin to use it.
